This painting was originally a nude holding the metallic 3 balloon but i felt like the two were competing with each other so i took the nude out of the equation and kept the 3 instead. Then i focused on making it look as 3D as possible and executing all the different textures of the honey and balloon. The hardest part was where the balloon was slightly out of focus because all the colors had to be blended together which was harder than the more crisp in focus areas. In the end i was happy with the outcome and the 3D illusion the painting gives off and the softness of the dripping honey.
